Co-creating your inner wellness.

Curiosity. Empathy. Connection.

LMSW Licensed in Ar, MO and KS

Hey there, I’m meg.

I'm passionate about understanding your journey and empowering you to lead a life filled with joy and vitality. The heart of my approach lies in compassion, curiosity and creativity, driving me to adopt a client-centered methodology. This means delving into not just your personal narrative but also understanding your environment, history, and the various systems influencing your present experience. I tailor my interventions to align with you. Together, we'll uncover what resonates most and co-create your healing journey. We’re in this together.

My style is a blend of talk therapy, creative expression, movement, nutrition, play, nature immersion, interpersonal connections, and embodiment practices. I utilize books, podcasts, articles, mindfulness techniques, music, and embodiment practices both within and outside our sessions. While there are certainly moments that will include emotions you may imagine come up in therapy- like sadness and anger- I believe in playfulness and humor, too. It all belongs.

Want to work together?

*A consultation is a free 15-20 minute meeting in person or via telehealth where we can meet each other and you can ask me any questions.

“There is almost nothing outside of you that will help you in any kind of lasting way… it’s an inside job”

- Anne Lamott

Thanks for showing up.

Therapy is an important space to invest in your own care. I’m a human first and therapist second. If you’re looking for an authentic, compassionate, and empathetic listener you’ve come to the right place. I believe that all change is an inside job and I’m here to collaborate with you on that inner work.

I Want to empower you to create the life you desire.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is fundamental to the healing process. I use a holistic and strengths-based approach with considerations of person-in-environment.

In shorter terms, there are many elements to being human and I’m interested in the interconnection of all of it. My methodology is trauma-informed for ages across a lifespan. I have education and training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), somatic experiencing (SE), attachment theory, polyvagal theory, internal family systems (IFS), attachment theory, therapeutic art, and EMDR. I am interested in how trauma gets stored in the body and the varying ways one reintegrates into a more embodied self.

My practice is eclectic—I create care plans based on the specific goals and strengths of the client. I care about your story and how we can leverage your strengths. My aim is to do so with authenticity, honesty, empathy, compassion, non-judgment, creativity, humor, and play. Each intervention I use is evidence-based. While diagnosis can be important information, I focus on de-pathologizing and creating a treatment plan where each person’s strengths grow and thrive.

I specialize in trauma, traumatic events, and how these experiences shape your life in various ways. I want to empower you to create the life you desire.
