The Space
Therapy matters, as well as the feel of the space you do it in. In Neuroaesthetics, research shows the design of the space you’re in impacts your mental well-being. That’s why I personally crafted and carefully selected every element of my therapy room with your experience and comfort in mind.

Education
Meg Bourne, LMSW
I graduated with my Master’s degree from the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare. For what it’s worth, while at KU I received the Margo Award for Excellence in Practicum (Translation: I really, really care about my clients).
Theory
I bring a unique expertise of both the general (macro) and the specific (clinical) to help clients explore their place in the order of things. My approach is client-centered. I’m a lifelong learner and integrate, CBT, DBT, Polyvagal theory, and somatic experiencing into my practice. I like to explore the full scope of your environment and you as a whole person to help you create a life you love.
Experience
I know what it’s like to sit on the couch as a client and honor the responsibility of the therapist chair. I’m committed to co-creating an experience that is right for you. Come as you are we'll chart the course for the life you envision.
I hope to be your empathetic witness. I became a therapist by finding healing through my own therapeutic process. I have worked closely with mental health clinicians in the non-profit I operate for over 15 years. Art Feeds has impacted 250,000 children and counting with therapeutic art programming.
Authenticity is my guiding principle. Here’s the truth of it: sometimes personal growth and therapy absolutely sucks. But I’m here to make it bearable and I won’t leave your side. Think of therapy as a vital tool for gaining unbiased, non-judgmental support as you navigate life's challenges.
I’m proud of you for having the courage to show up for therapy. Think we are the right fit?
